Monday-Friday all year round




Victoria House Day Nursery is a beautifully converted British Red Cross Community Hall, ideally located in the heart of Marlow. With easy access from the A404 and just a 5-minute walk from the town centre, the nursery benefits from excellent bus links and convenient onsite parking right outside.


Our nursery boasts spacious, light-filled rooms and a large, fully resourced garden that provides endless opportunities for outdoor play and learning. The garden features exciting elements such as a pirate ship, treetop walkway, and balancing beams, alongside a purpose-built preschool area, a dedicated vegetable patch, and a mud kitchen. These areas are designed to inspire imaginative and real-world play, supporting our children's growth and development.


We are currently seeking a Level 3 Practitioner to join our team. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. For the right candidate, we are open to discussing alternative hours. A full, relevant Level 3 childcare qualification is required. Please note, this is a year-round position, as the nursery operates throughout the year and is not term-time only.

400 Qualfiication Recognition Bonus

As Nursery Practitioner, you will:




Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met. Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine. Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families. Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures. Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent. Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.

As Nursery Practitioner, you will need:




Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential Fluent in written and spoken English - essential Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years - desirable Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
