Here at Little Acorns Childcare we are seeking a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner, for maternity cover. You will apply your knowledge of early years education best practice to ensure our children have the best start in life.

Responsibilities include:
Provide high quality care for all children. Communicating daily with the parents / carers of children in our care, ensuring all communication is professional, friendly and thorough. Ensuring that the room is stimulating, well equipped and covers all areas of learning. Providing a variety of educational opportunities for children targeted towards their individual needs and interests. Putting together activities for the children throughout their day, using in the moment planning and child-initiated learning. Ensure the room complies to all areas of the EYFS framework, to provide childcare and education at no less than an outstanding standard. Communicate well with members of the Little Acorns Childcare team (management, fellow team members, SENCO, DSL) and external professionals when necessary. Be committed to completing on the job training as well as training, such as first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene etc. Ensuring the highest standards and demonstrate good practice through your own behaviour, care and enthusiasm. Using our parent app, Blossom, to provide parents with in-depth and accurate diary entries regarding their child's day with us.
Eligible candidates will have / be:
A level 3 (or above) qualification in a childcare related subject At least 2 years experience working within a childcare setting Fluent in written / spoken English Able to work all year round, we do NOT close during school holidays. (closed for 2 weeks over the Christmas period)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-16.00 per hour
