is an independent nursery located just outside Hedge End, Southampton. We have been caring for little ones for over 25 years and are now looking for Practitioners to join our lovely, friendly team.
We are open Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 6 pm and operate a rolling shift system between 8am and 6pm that allows for a 'short' day every other day.
The salary is 25,000 per annum, working an average of 37.5 hours a week for level 3 and 24,500 per annum for level 2. There may also be an opportunity to extend your working week.
We are currently offering a 500 starting bonus, pro rata to the hours worked. (Terms and conditions apply).
You will plan and carry out a variety of fun activities with the children in line with the Early Years' curriculum. We will train you in Nursery ways if you are newly qualified and ease you into the role
You will need to be a calm, kind and caring individual with an enthusiastic approach to working with children and their families.
You will also need to be committed and reliable. Team working is essential to meet each child's needs, so do be ready to work closely with others.
If you are also proactive and happy to share all good ideas this would be a bonus as we are continually trying to improve our services.
Our essential criteria
You must hold a relevant level 3, or level 2 Early Years qualification
Have good communication skills
Knowledge of the early Years Foundation Stage
