We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and education.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality childcare and early education to children in a nursery setting.
Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and development.
Drive initiatives that foster a positive learning environment, encouraging children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, adhering to nursery policies and procedures.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
Demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring junior staff members and supporting their professional development.
Requirements
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare is essential.
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach.
A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development is crucial.
Leadership abilities to guide and inspire others within the nursery environment are advantageous.
