We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your ability to manage and communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within our nursery setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality childcare and support the emotional, social, and educational development of children.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring that all children are included.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive team environment and share best practices in early childhood education.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress in line with nursery policies.
Ensure that the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning.
Requirements
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential.
Proven experience in childcare settings, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience within the nursery setting.
Knowledge of child safeguarding practices and a commitment to promoting children's welfare.
