Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering children's development, and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Manage daily routines, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all children. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere that encourages professional growth and development. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's quality of care and education, demonstrating leadership skills when necessary.

Qualifications



Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for working with young children and fostering their development through play-based learning. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
