Job Description

Lauriston Kinross is recruiting for a Room Senior for the younger age group within their nursery.

As a Room Senior you will lead your team to provide the highest standard of care and guidance for children placed in the setting, you will implement the daily routine in your room while ensuring that all quality and safety standards are maintained at all times. You will be responsible for supervision and supporting staff in their training and development along with supporting the induction process.

You should have previous leadership experience and a be a confident communicator at all levels.

You will be qualified to at least SVQ3 and be prepared to study to SVQ4 level if you do not already hold this qualification, or equivalent (funded by the company).

You should have sound knowledge of pre-birth - 3 and experience of leading and developing a playroom, with sound knowledge of all documentation especially with regards to the younger children.
