Summary

We are looking for a Nursery SENCO. You will play a vital role in nurturing and educating our most vulnerable young children who may require additional support and understanding. This position is essential for fostering children's development and ensuring they receive the best possible start in their educational journey.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Spend 1-1 time with specific children requiring additional support Plan and implement engaging learning activities that promote child development. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's development. Attend meetings with outside agencies as required Ensure all documentation associated with your role is completed, e.g Health care plans

Requirements

Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting. SENCO experience and a L3 SENCO qualification is preferred. Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff. Passion for early years education and commitment to children's welfare.
