Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our under 3s. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in early childhood education. This role involves managing staff, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering positive relationships with parents. The Nursery supervisor will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of young children and will be responsible for maintaining high standards of childcare.

Responsibilities

Lead the nursery team within our under 3s rooms, providing guidance and support to staff members. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress, needs, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the nursery. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of childcare services provided. Maintain accurate records related to children's development, attendance, and incidents.

Experience

Proven experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a managerial or leadership role. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Experience working with children of various ages is essential. A relevant qualification in childcare or early childhood education is desirable but not mandatory. First aid Child protection
