Little Monkeys Nursery Cramond are currently looking to recruit support worker staff to join our busy nursery.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring applicants who are looking to start a career in childcare. This role would involve becoming part of a strong working team, learning how to use curricular guidelines to plan activities that support child development at all stages, working in partnership alongside parents and families in the setting and providing a high quality warm and nurturing environment and care for children ages 3 months to 5 years.

As part of your skills development we support you to achieve your SVQ Level 3 in Social Services Children and Young People qualification, which will be done by attending college 1 day a week. Our staff are all very committed to improving their skills and we work together on a daily basis to make sure we are providing the children in our care with the best start in life.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday and the successful candidate will be contracted to a 37.5 hour work week split over 4 days working various shift patterns. There are generous holiday days included in the role and over the festive period we are closed between Christmas and New Year.

Qualifications and Skills

No previous experience required as training and mentoring will be provided - we only ask that applicants have a genuine interest in working in early years.
