A welcoming primary school in the S81 area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a short-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience in nursery or early years settings, who can support young children with their learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Support the Nursery Teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities. Provide care and supervision to children, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development. Assist with classroom organisation, resources, and routines. Work closely with staff to support individual learning needs.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Early Years or Nursery setting. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Childcare, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or equivalent). A caring, patient, and positive approach to working with young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Pay: 98.00-120.00 per day
