HR/Resourcing Officer

\xc2\xa325,758 - \xc2\xa327,690 Grade D

North West Regional Organised Crime Unit, Warrington

FTC Until March 2025

The post is 36.5 hours per week but part time flexible hours available (15-30 hours).

The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit is a collaborative multi agency covert response to tackle serious and organised crime across the North West Region.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR/Resourcing Officer who is passionate about people and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our friendly NWROCU HR and DMS Team. You will provide an efficient and effective HR administrative support and be a first point of contact for all HR enquiries. Your role will be extremely varied, including providing comprehensive administrative support to the recruitment and selection process, managing the new starter and leaver processes, and maintaining the Duty Management System.

Applicants must hold the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Level 3 Foundation Certificate or equivalent and an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services.

The NWROCU leads the policing response across the region posed by serious and organised crime in Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester and North Wales. The NWROCU provides the vital link from national capabilities and expertise to local policing and knowledge, enabling the North West region to deliver the Government\'s Serious and Organised Crime strategy and to protect communities from harm.

The post is subject to an initial FTC of up to two years reviewable based on continuous funding and performance.

Successful applicants working within North West Regional Organised Crime Unit will be subject to Management Vetting and enhanced SC Vetting prior to taking up post.

The Grade of this role has been determined using the Merseyside HAY procedure and has been afforded a Merseyside Grade D. This equates to a salary range of \xc2\xa325,758 - \xc2\xa327,690. Successful applicants from other Regional Forces will be paid a salary within this range.

NWROCU is located in the Warrington area, close to good public transport links and the motorway network.
