The Role

  • We are looking for an HR & Recruitment Officer to join our busy HR team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, and we are looking for a start date of late January/early February 2024.
  • The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager, and will be responsible for providing a high quality HR service to our people, with a particular focus on recruitment/talent acquisition.
  • This is broad role supporting the full HR mix, but will principally focus on the end to end recruitment process, identifying and attracting key talent, driving resourcing solutions, and assisting with our early careers programmes.

About You

  • You will already be an HR or Recruitment Officer/Advisor who has the ability to support all aspects of the HR mix, but with particular experience in recruitment/talent acquisition.
  • You will have a full and busy workload, so you will need to be able to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure, be proactive and take initiative, be flexible and adaptable in your approach, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key to this role is confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail. You will have a good up to date understanding of employment law, with proficiency in all aspects of IT, including experience of using an HRIS and applicant tracking system.
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Officer/Advisor, or as an HR Officer with relevant experience in recruitment/talent acquisition.
  • You will have worked in professional services, ideally in a law firm. Full or part CIPD qualified is preferred.
