Opportunity

Reporting to the O2C Team Lead UK, this role is ideal for a bright and ambitious individual. It offers a great opportunity to gain a wider understanding of the financial aspects of our Partners. The O2C Accountant acts as the key contact for all UK departments in operational finance areas related to our Partners.

Key

Responsibilities

Maintain and accurately update Partner commission rates and changes. Ensure precise calculation of split payments resulting from Partner ownership changes. Process bank forms, verifying that all supporting documents comply with the Change of Bank process. Account for and journal any payments returned by the bank. Assist with the Change of Ownership process, ensuring correct and timely actions are taken. Support regular follow-up of held payments to minimize their volume, value, and duration. Respond professionally to internal requests from all UK departments. Handle internal and external queries, both written and face-to-face, in a professional and timely manner. Provide holiday and absence cover for other O2C Accountants as needed. Support the O2C Team Lead - UK with ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Experience

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. A team player keen to collaborate with the wider business and the rest of Finance. A "can-do" attitude. A high level of accuracy with good attention to detail. Good/intermediate Excel skills. Good communication skills, both face-to-face and written. Excellent telephone manner. Lots of initiative, keen to seek out improvements and find solutions if problems are encountered. Able to work under pressure.

Previous experience of Microsoft Dynamics (D365). Previous experience of Zendesk Software. Experience using Google Drive.
