Occupational Health Unit Clinical Lead




Can you provide operational management and ensure appropriate direction is provided to the Occupational Health and Welfare function? If this is something you think that would suit you then please apply for the above role.


The Occupational Health Unit Clinical Lead ensures the provision of highly effective services, excellent customer focus and complies with statutory requirements and standards and embraces innovation and best practice.


Deliver an exceptional, high-quality service that promotes, maintains, and improves the health of the workforce and safeguards against risks arising from their work and working environment.

Prior Education and Experience:



Essential:



Experienced as one the following:

Registered Nurse/Clinical Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience, with a minimum of 2 years at management level running a complex service with current live NMC registration. Experienced Manager within a Clinical or Health setting. Experience of working within an OHU department.

OR equivalent demonstrable experience to the above.

Occupational Health qualification or relevant experience. Experience of managing a complex health led department including leading on complex cases. Experience of managing the governance required within a Clinical based service Experience of working within a heavily regulated environment

Desirable:



Educated to master's degree level or working towards NEBOSH (National Examining Board for Occupational Health) or IOSH Managing Safety Certificate. Psychology qualification Specialist OH experience. / Health Care setting experience Knowledge of OH Police Standards Leadership and/or Management qualification Mental Health First Aider
