JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the instruction/guidance of senior staff, provide routine general clerical, and administrative support to the school in Reception
MAIN DUTIES
Undertake reception duties, answering routine telephone and face-to-face enquiries and signing in visitors.
Liaising with parents/staff and visitors as required
Promptly provide accurate messages to staff and students when they are unable to receive telephone calls.
Administration
Provide routine clerical support, e.g. photocopying, filing, e-mailing, completing routine forms.
Maintain manual and computerised record/management information systems, including input of SIMS Data.
Undertake typing, word processing and other IT- based tasks.
Sort and distribute mail.
Undertake routine administration.
Record accident forms.
Update SIMS medical records.
Resources
Operate office equipment, e.g. photocopier, computer.
Arrange orderly and secure storage of supplies, compile and maintain school inventory.
Prepare orders for stationery supplies as required

Excellent communication skills
Minimum A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
