We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to managing office operations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment, supporting various departments, and enhancing overall productivity.
Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
connecting with our warehouse teams on a regular basis
arranging customer deliveries to our UK and Dutch warehouses
dealing with sales reps, sales orders and the processing of same
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using Microsoft Excel program
Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure easy access to information
Assist with sales ledger - bookkeeping including day books, invoicing, payments
Chasing customers for payments
Dealing with questions and queries raised by customers and the sales team
working closely with office managers and directors
Support staff with clerical tasks, ensuring all administrative duties are completed in a timely manner
Experience
Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative roles
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
Prior clerical experience will be considered a plus
