We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at Bull Bay Golf Club. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Duties
Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up to date
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including invoicing and expense tracking
Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents
Provide clerical support as needed, including typing correspondence and managing office supplies
Collaborate with team members to support various projects and initiatives
Given the nature of the business, applicants should have some knowledge of the various golf club applications although this is not essential and training can be provided.
Skills
Proven office experience with a strong administrative background
Proficient computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
Familiarity with Xero is advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated clerical experience with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships within the team
