Role Overview



We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Sales Office Administrator

to support our internal sales team and assist in the smooth operation of our office. The role involves managing customer enquiries, processing sales orders, coordinating with production and logistics, and providing administrative support to maximise sales efficiency.

Key Responsibilities



Act as the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries (phone, email, website). Prepare and process sales quotations, orders, and invoices accurately. Liaise with production, design, and logistics teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time. Support the external Sales team. Assist with tender documentation, proposals, and pricing schedules. Ensure excellent customer service by resolving queries quickly and professionally. Provide general administrative support including filing, scheduling meetings, and managing office correspondence.

Skills & Experience



Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, or office administration (ideally in manufacturing or B2B environment). Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications



GCSEs or equivalent required; further education or business administration qualification preferred. Training in sales administration, customer service, or business systems - particularly Sage 200 advantageous.

Hours of work:

37.5 Hours per week, 9.00AM - 5.00PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
