The Office Administrator is responsible for the efficient operation of the Bridgend Aggregates office. This position is responsible for the detailed administrative and clerical tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the office. This position will also assist the executive team with special projects as requested.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls
Taking and placing orders with customers and suppliers over phone and email
Invoicing
Operate Weighbridge (training will be provided)
Organisation of supply chain and logistics for quarry operation
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Develop and maintain a filing system
Communication and co-ordination with site and management team
Manage fleet maintenance
Procurement of goods and services the business requires
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
Administration
Good telephone manner
Ability to work off own initiative
Dedicated team player
Experience within quarrying or construction would be an advantage
Previous office administration experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 34,580.00-40,000.00 per year
