We are a central Brighouse based waste transfer centre/skip hire company and we require a full time experienced Office Administrator to support the day to day admin operations involved with the company and support/assist the Managers/Directors.
The role will assist various areas within the business. The successful candidate will be based from our Brighouse, HD61LL office.
The role and it's responsibilities:
- Supporting the operations team with planning and scheduling of works, associated appointments and booking skip order deliveries and collections
- Building relationships with our growing customer base and maintaining and growing our relationship with our current business customers.
- Booking skip, deliveries, collections and exchanges, liaising with existing staff to ensure the smooth running of this scheme of work.
- Dealing with customer enquiries/queries via telephone and email
- Providing a friendly 'reception' service - taking and making calls to customers, suppliers, staff and others.
-Completing associated paperwork accurately, filing documents and keeping spreadsheet records of all incoming and outgoing waste accurately and up to date.
- Assisting the Managers/Directors in their day to day duties

Candidate skills and experience requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years varied office and/or customer service work experience including some administration/reception (reception work not essential but desirable)
- Communicating with staff at all levels, clients, suppliers and authorities
- Good ICT skills
- Good organisational skills, especially organising office paperwork and documentation
-Experience working in a waste transfer site office or similar is required.
Salary, hours, holidays
12.21 per hour - 10 hours per day - 7.00am to 5.00pm, with 1 hour lunch break (actual hours paid per day are 9) 5 days per week.
Holiday entitlements are 28 paid holidays per year from 1st January to 31st December.
We do not open Bank Holidays, therefore, 8 Bank Holiday days are taken as holidays, leaving 20 days paid holiday per year.
