Job Description

CRT Flooring Specialists Ltd is a well-established flooring contractor in the North West and members of the CFA Contract Flooring Association. We offer all types of flooring and hygienic wall cladding services to end users and main contractors throughout a range of commercial sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator. Based in Chorley, with Client sites throughout England and Wales, the right candidate will be able to join our existing team and contribute to our continued growth.

Job Purpose:



Ensures proper flow of office procedures, and supports the office by carrying out common office duties. Maintains a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone. Check and chase deliveries as well as booking delivery on client portals.

Job Duties Include:



Manages correspondence by answering emails and sorting mail. Manages reception area and look after visitors. Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary. Archive Project files via scanning and allocating to required folders. Arrange Training Courses for staff members. Collect and Process Fitters Timesheets. Arrange allocation and payment of vehicle parking. Assist with Accounts inputting and filing. Assist Estimator with Tenders (obtaining information/Queries) Obtain and deal with any issues with deliveries to Site/Office Drafts, formats, and prints relevant documents. Maintains stock lists and orders office supplies as needed. Manages outgoing post and records data on special deliveries. Photocopies and files appropriate documents as needed. Take care of website functions and social media profiles. Create and submit O&M information for completed projects. Booking of staff accommodation when required.

Office Administrator Skills and Qualifications:



Prior Office administration Experience Preferred; Strong Attention to Detail; Excellent Time Management Skills; Exceptional Communication and Customer Service Skills; Technical Skills, Including Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs; Strong Prioritisation and Organisation Skills; Ability to Handle Confidential Information; Strong Record Keeping Skills; Presentation Skills, Ability to Multitask.

Flexible Hours (24 hours between Mon-Thurs, 8am-5pm & Fri 8am-4pm).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24 per week
