We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting staff, and maintaining efficient office procedures.
Duties
Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organised and efficient environment.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Utilise Microsoft Office and Xcel for document preparation, communication, and scheduling.
Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
Provide clerical support such as filing, photocopying, and managing correspondence.
Coordinate meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance.
Maintain office supplies inventory and order new supplies as needed.
Experience
Previous office experience is essential, with a strong emphasis on administrative roles, construction based would be beneficial but not essential
Proficient computer skills, including typing speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications is required.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
