The Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office by managing administrative tasks and supporting staff. This role is vital in creating a productive, organized, and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage front desk duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, accepting deliveries, and handling enquiries.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, mail, couriers).
Assist with document preparation, quotes, tender breakdowns, orders, operating & maintenance manuals and schedules.
Contacting suppliers for quotations and logging of information.
Support the HR or finance team with personnel records, timesheets, and invoices if needed.
Provide administrative support to executives and managers as required.
Qualifications
The suitable candidate must have the following:
2+ years of experience as an administrator, preferably in Construction industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Salary - Dependant on experience
Hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm (but can be negotiated)
