Job Summary


We are a family run company with over 50 years in the Auction Industry. Our general auctions are now all Online Auctions, selling a wide variety of stock from some of the high street's biggest names like Wayfair, Amazon, JD Williams, Very etc.

We are seeking an Administrator to join our team at Kingsland Auctions, and the ideal candidate will require a good experience of Office Administration and Sage 50 Accounts.

You will be working as part of a friendly team and will be helping with the day to day running of our busy weekly auctions that we are looking to expand.

This role requires an organised person with strong communication skills, good attention to detail and confident to deal with customers face to face but mainly over the telephone.

Responsibilities



You will be mainly responsible for the administration once an auction is live.

Contacting buyers to book in collection and delivery slots.

Answering calls and email enquiries and also dealing with some face-to-face enquiries all in a confident and friendly manner.

To provide a high level of customer service to both buyers and sellers.

Sage 50 Accounts - experience of working with this system or similar system is essential.

A good level of IT literacy is essential, with fast accurate typing/keyboard skills, and proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and Sage.

Experience of cash handling and processing of payments.

Be able to work with other staff to ensure smooth running of all auctions.

Good numeracy skills

Organised, friendly, and a strong team player with a hands-on approach.

Working Hours



Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 9am - 5pm.

We may be able to provide flexibility around these hours. Also, there is potential to increase to a 5-day working week.

(Occasional Saturday work will be available if wanted.)

Hourly rate 12.75
