As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and highly organised

Office Administrator

to join our dynamic team. This role offers a clear pathway for professional development and the potential to progress into a

Careers Adviser

or

Tutor

position, depending on your qualifications, interests, and future opportunities within the organisation.

About the Role



You will be an essential part of our operations team, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of our services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing exam bookings, providing administrative support to our Careers Advisers and Tutors, responding to learner and partner queries, and delivering excellent customer service.

You'll also support the preparation and delivery of classes and workshops--handling registers, preparing resources, ensuring rooms are ready, and assisting with scheduling and learner communications.

Key Responsibilities



Coordinate exam bookings and oversee exam day logistics Support Careers Advisers with CV creation, interview preparation, and job search resources Respond professionally to emails and phone enquiries from learners and partners Welcome and assist learners and visitors at reception Maintain accurate learner records and update internal databases Provide day-to-day admin support to Tutors, Advisers, and Management Assist with the delivery of workshops and training sessions as needed Contribute your skills in areas like social media, marketing, design, or IT (if applicable)

Person Specification



Essential



University degree (required) If educated in the UK: A-Levels and GCSEs in Maths & English at grade C or above Confident IT user - especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds Must live within 1 hour of Intech Centre (Islington)

Desirable



Previous experience in administration, education, employability, or customer service Touch typing skills Experience using CRM systems or booking platforms Any additional skills that could add value to Intech Centre (e.g. social media, design, multilingual abilities)
