Who we're looking for



We're seeking an

Office Administrator

with at least one year of experience in a similar role. You'll be a natural organiser with excellent communication skills, able to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes while also representing EducationScape at our major events.

The ideal candidate will bring:

A friendly, proactive approach and strong customer service skills Proven experience juggling admin tasks and meeting deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy (especially with data and finance) Confidence with Microsoft Office and cloud-based accounting software A collaborative mindset, but also the ability to work independently An interest in events, with the enthusiasm to be part of delivering them onsite and online

Primary Responsibilities



To support the day-to-day running of the company including customer service, events, subscriptions, and finance through general office administration and data entry including but no exclusive to:

Act as the first point of contact by answering and directing calls, handling enquiries promptly and professionally. Handle daily communications including incoming and outgoing post and arranging courier services where required. Provide dedicated administrative support for subscriptions, delivering excellent customer service and account management. Assist with event administration, including speaker management, delegate registration, and ticket bookings (both online and group). Play a key role in the delivery of flagship events such as the Apprenticeships and Training Conference and the Festival of Education, both onsite and online. Oversee office supplies and equipment, maintaining a well-organised and efficient working environment. Support finance function by resolving customer queries, issuing invoices, processing remittances and purchase orders, and monitoring overdue payments. Maintain accurate systems and databases, updating CRM records and ensuring data is well organised. Support the wider team through internal communications, termly newsletters and ad hoc assistance where required. Assist managers with projects and ad-hoc tasks such as research, reporting and other administrative support as required.
This is a full time, permanent role, though we're open to discussing flexible arrangements with the right candidate.
