Role Overview
As the Office Administrator, you will be responsible for receiving and processing orders and organising deliveries across our logistics and supply networks. Working within the Sales team, you will support and communicate internally and externally to ensure the accurate and efficient delivery of customer requirements across the UK.
This is an administrative role that will grow within the business development at MCM, building on what you know today and developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal Sales and Accounts staff as well as external logistic partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Order Management:
Processing customer orders, updating records in spreadsheets and bespoke trading/processing systems.
Logistics Coordination:
Arrange transport with hauliers, track deliveries; coordinate and communicate with Sales, Accounts and Customers.
Customer Service:
Respond to enquiries, resolve issues and update customers and suppliers quickly and professionally - from order placement to delivery
Administrative Support:
Prepare documentation, data entry, filing and supporting the Sales teams.
Development:
Assess internal processes and methods and suggest improvements where noted.
About You
Experience with customer and sales order processing systems within construction industry an advantage
Experience in office administration
Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner
Organised, able to prioritise tasks and pay close attention to detail in a busy environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
