Duties
Welcome callers in line with our school values and ethos ensuring visitors are booked in and safeguarding and security procedures observed.
2. Respond to telephone enquiries and deliver messages promptly referring complex matters to the relevant person.
3. Liaise with parents regarding the welfare of children, including illness and injury and provide first aid following appropriate training.
4. Provide administrative support to the head teacher and other school leaders including arranging meetings and appointments, diary management, producing letters and other appropriate clerical tasks.
5. Assist in communication and the delivery of information to the school's workforce and its stakeholders through the school website, newsletter, messaging service, social media and other appropriate media.
6. Provide clerical assistance to support the organisation of school trips, visits and sporting events.
7. Input orders and invoices into the FIS, ensuring the correct requisition and authority process is followed.
8. Assist in the safe collection, receipt, recording and storage of monies.
9. Be responsible for the administration of pupil registers, school meals and school milk.
10. Monitor stocks of stationery items and requisition as necessary.
11. Assist in maintaining the office filing system and complete such tasks within specified time limits.
12. Enter and maintain pupil information on the school management information system.
13. Liaise with external agencies as appropriate
14. Ensure information regarding pupils, staff, families and the wider community is handled confidentially and recorded appropriately.
15. Understand and promote the safeguarding in schools agenda after appropriate training.
16. Carry out other allied duties as may reasonably be required.

Qualifications
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
Practical experience of working in an office environment
Educated to GCSE Level 2 (min 5 GCSEs at grade A-C) including English and maths NVQ Level 2 or above in a relevant discipline such as business administration or customer services (Desirable)
