Office Administrator / Project Coordinator – Sgi Glass

Job Description

SGI Glass is a specialist manufacturer of bonded glass windows for ambulances, police vehicles and other specialist conversions. We're looking for a motivated and organised person to join our office team. This role is varied and fast-paced, from managing phone calls and emails to coordinating projects with the factory floor. Full one-to-one training will be provided, so no prior experience in the glazing industry is required.

What you'll be doing:



Handling incoming phone calls and emails from clients and suppliers. Preparing quotes and managing project timelines. Liaising with the factory floor to ensure orders are on track. Ordering parts and keeping records up to date with a strong focus on accuracy. Supporting basic accounting tasks using

Xero

. (Xero knowledge is a must) Using our

bespoke stock management system

(training provided). Tracking projects and tasks through our

job board system (Kanban style)

. Building up knowledge of our specialist products through hands-on training.

What we're looking for:



Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and by email. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems. Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. A team player who can build good relationships with both clients and colleagues. Previous office or admin experience is useful.
