Drayton Animal Health Ltd is a UK-based Contract Research Organisation (CRO) established in 2007, specialising in the development and support of veterinary medicines, feed additives, and plant protection products. We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team at Drayton Animal Health Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential administrative support within a dynamic scientific environment.

Purpose of the Role:



The primary purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the team at Drayton Animal Health Ltd, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office and research activities. This role is office based and located just outside Stratford-upon-Avon. You will work closely with the team in our office and across the company and report into the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:



As our Office Administrator, you will be integral to the daily operations, handling a diverse range of tasks that support both administrative and scientific functions. Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

General Administration & Support:



o Providing general administrative support for the team, including assisting with routine tasks and actions, and welcoming visitors.

o Managing and ordering office stationery supplies, and sourcing and ordering equipment for studies as required.

o Performing reception and telephone duties, acting as the first point of contact for enquiries.

o Arranging hospitality for visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.

o Assisting in maintaining compliance with the Drayton Compliance Management System (DCMS).

o Booking accommodation and travel for staff, including arranging car hire.

o Maintaining and managing our filing system to ensure efficient record-keeping.

o Being responsible for the changing, secure storage, and archiving of backup drives.

o Managing the secure storage and authorised use of the corporate credit card, debit card, and petty cash.

o Handling couriers by packing parcels and booking collections / deliveries.

o Preparing and dispatching post.

o Controlling the collection and records of Data and Sample Transfer Forms.

o Serving as a member of the Drayton Animal Health Ltd Health and Safety Committee.

o Using and maintaining records on spreadsheets (strong excel skills & knowledge).

o Assisting in the preparation of monthly timesheet data for wages.

o Preparing documents using adobe (strong computer skills)

Study & Scientific Support:



o Assisting with the delivery of studies, including labelling, recording, binding, copying, and preparation of files.

o Copying and despatching study files to clients.

o Preparing study files and facility records for archiving.

o Assisting the Science team with the overview of equipment management, ensuring timely calibrations and servicing.

o Ensuring all work is conducted in strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) principles.

About You:



You will be a highly organised, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, strong Microsoft office skills and a proactive approach. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong administrative capabilities and a commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance. Experience in an office administration role, ideally within a scientific or regulated environment, would be beneficial.

Pay: 25,678.00-27,029.00 per year
