Purpose of the post:



Under the guidance of senior staff, be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial, organisational processes within the school and support the School . Assist with the planning and development of support services in school whilst trust facilities compliance when required.

The Governors of this welcoming, friendly and caring Church of England Primary School wish to appoint a School office administrator to be part of our successful, hardworking and dedicated staff team.


We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who is able to use their initiative and work independently as well as having excellent self-organisation skills and a flexible approach to managing workload in a busy office environment. Previous experience of working in this or a similar role within a school or knowledge of the packages used is beneficial.


The role involves being office team and the successful candidate will work very closely with the Head Teacher.


The successful candidate should:


Have the ability to prioritise time and workload


Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills


Be friendly, approachable and professional and able to work as part of a team


Demonstrate the ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion


Work under pressure managing competing priorities


Provide specialist financial support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the school and must be familiar with (or willing to train to effectively use ) packages ie. FMS, SIMS, budgeting software
