Job Introduction

Maidensbridge Primary School is situated on Beachcroft Road, Wall Heath. We are a one form entry school with an age range of 4-11 and currently have 204 pupils on roll.


Our aim is to create a happy and caring environment for children by providing a wide range of well-balanced learning opportunities for all to help them grow into independent and responsible people.

School Office Administrator (Fixed Term Contact until August 2025) Grade 3




We are seeking an experienced and highly organised administrator to join our school team as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills and a warm, welcoming manner. This role requires someone who can manage a busy front office efficiently with a 'can do attitude' to join our friendly school while maintaining a professional and supportive presence within our school community.


Your role will include:

Administrative Support

: Handle data entry, produce reports and letters, manage diary bookings, room availability, and maintain stock and stationery levels.

Reception & Communication

: Act as the first point of contact with a friendly and professional manner; manage phone calls, emails, and liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies.

Pupil & School Operations

: Maintain pupil records (e.g. attendance, medication, consent forms), organise school trips, afterschool clubs and appointments.

Systems & Procedures

: Operate Arbor and InVentry systems, monitor school gates, manage emergency procedures, and assist with website updates and school publications.

Finance & Resources

: Administer tuck shop and school milk claims, manage orders and quotes, track payments for lunches and staff dinners, and support fundraising efforts.

Working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am - 3.45pm.


You will initially be appointed on a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.
