About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Administrator to join our busy construction company. This is a varied role perfect for someone who enjoys supporting a dynamic team and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily administrative tasks including answering phones, managing correspondence, and filing
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for site managers and contractors
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Maintain project documentation and filing systems
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- Assist with health and safety documentation and compliance records
- Prepare quotes, contracts, and project correspondence
- Manage office supplies and equipment maintenance
- Support payroll administration and timesheet processing
- Handle permit applications and regulatory paperwork
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous office experience preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of construction industry helpful but training provided
