Due to our continued success and growth, we are now looking for an
Internal Sales / Office Administrator
based at
Skelmersdale (WN8 9UE). We would preferably be looking for someone with Industrial Sales Skills across a variety of marketplaces although it's not essential for previous experience as ongoing training is available. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and driven applicants willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic customer facing role as part of our team. The successful applicants will receive all the guidance and support they need to be successful in the role.
Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the office manager, you will have several responsibilities and duties including:
Answering telephones, replying to e-mails, returning quotes in a timely manner.
Prioritising enquiries/orders.
Processing purchase orders, creating estimates.
Booking deliveries, quoting on carriage charges.
Interacting with managers and carrying out their requests.
Office duties such as filing documents as and when needed.
Updating Social Media platforms.
Keeping workplace tidy, undertaking general office duties.
Co-operating with the warehouse team and drivers.
Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's products/services to advise and make suitable recommendations.
Resolving customer concerns.
Keeping up to date with our Quality procedure in relation to ISO 9001
Qualifications and Skills
Good work ethic, taking pride in your work.
Flexible approach and friendly personality.
Punctual and with good attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work.
Proficient in MS products such as Outlook and exel.
Necessary Skills
Sales and Marketing.
Social Media Skills.
Computer literacy with good typing skills.
Grades A-C in Maths and English (Vital).
Good telephone manner.
Use of a CRM would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate should aim to deliver excellent customer service, possessing excellent numeric skills. As a supplier of 6-meter length products priced by the metre, getting the calculations right is crucial. A prior understanding of, Microsoft Word, and Excel is essential within an office environment.
