We are seeking a dedicated, organised Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support to our directors and assisting with various clerical tasks. a knowledge of sage would be useful. This position requires strong organisational skills, a knowledge of sage, word, excel etc and excellent communication abilities. Alongside clerical based duties the role will involve taking in deliveries, and general light cleaning and keeping the office/warehouse organised and tidy
Duties
Perform day to day office based tasks to help with the running of a family run office furniture business
Manage and organise the installation team with relevant paper work for day to day deliveries
Assisting the directors with general day to day clerical support
Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
inputting purchase invoices, chasing debtors
keeping the warehouse/office clean and tidy
taking in deliveries (some light lifting may be required)
Skills
Strong clerical skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with Sage is a plus but not essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
