We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This role requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in data entry, and excellent phone etiquette. Familiarity with excel and Google Suite is desirable.
Responsibilities
Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Assist with organising of material purchases and placing orders.
Assist in managing schedules and appointments.
Prepare and organise documents for quotations..
Maintain accurate records using computerised systems, ensuring data integrity.
Support financial tasks such as invoicing and basic bookkeeping.
Assist with the day to day running of the business.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential; training may be provided.
Competence in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
Ability to work independently required.
We offer a flexible position located just outside of Petersfield.
