We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office & Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent organisational skills.
Duties
Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger for all WAY Group businesses;
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, and providing data for forecasting and budgeting;
Bank payments and reconciliations;
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations;
Maintaining organized financial files, managing expense reports, and providing general support to the finance team.
Ensuring that all aspects of the office administrations are covered including contracts renewals and stationary orders;
Coordinate maintenance and repairs, manage office supplies and equipment, ensure a safe and compliant working environment, and oversee the allocation of office space;
Developing, implementing and updating office policies and procedures;
Coordinating with external suppliers and contractors for maintenance and services;
Preparing reports and presentations for senior management;
Organise internal events;
Ensuring compliance with office health and safety policies;
Deal with correspondence and queries;
Serve as a primary contact for visitors and external parties.
Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous but not essential.
