The Office Manager at Net Communications 2 Ltd (Net Com) is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Net Com's operations and administration run smoothly and efficiently, prioritizing an exceptional level of customer service.
Reporting Line
You will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Working with the IT Infrastructure Manager, developing and implementing IT policies, procedures and security protocols to ensure data protection and information security, compliant with current legislation and best practice.
Developing efficient and organized working practices within the office to ensure staff are able to maximise their working time and skillsets.
Assisting the IT Infrastructure Manager where necessary, to organize the necessary staffing and hardware for the delivery of infrastructure to new clients.
Ensuring the best value for money and the highest quality technology are purchased for both the business and customers, in line with instructions received from the IT Infrastructure Manager.
Answering customer phone calls, dealing with low level trouble shooting queries and escalating issues where necessary.
Raising customer invoices within Sage and working with the Forest Park accounts manager to ensure Sage remains up to date and accurate at all times.
Assisting the IT Infrastructure Manager in following up leads for new business.
Assisting the IT Infrastructure Manager to monitor income and expenditure as well as vendor relationships, ensuring both cost effectiveness and compliance.
Collaborating with employees in other businesses under the same ownership, to provide seamless technology assistance to the owner and his family at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
Previous administrative support experience in a professional setting is essential.
Previous work experience within the technology industry is desirable but not essential.
Effective communication skills and customer service skills, along with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels are essential.
Knowledge of how to use Microsoft office software. Training can be given on the use of other software and technology where necessary, including Sage, but a desire to learn and lack of nervousness over using new technology is essential.
The ability to organize, multi-task and set priorities are essential.
. This role will involve exposure to sensitive data and a non-disclosure agreement will be in place for the successful candidate.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with standard working hours, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The Office Manager may on occasion be required to work in an office or remote environment, depending on company priorities. Occasional paid overtime may be required to address critical IT issues or meet project deadlines.
This is a 3 month position, but with the potential for extension.
