Are you a proactive, highly organised professional who thrives in a dynamic, people-focused environment? At
PGR Advisory
, we support some of the UK and Ireland's most innovative companies across engineering, technology, life sciences, and manufacturing with R&D tax relief, compliance strategies, and funding support. As we grow, we're looking for an exceptional
Office Manager

About Us
PGR Advisory is a specialist consultancy working at the intersection of finance, innovation, and tax. We work closely with forward-thinking businesses and large groups, offering expert guidance on R&D tax credits, HMRC enquiry defence, Patent Box, and innovation funding. Our team combines technical depth with commercial clarity -- and we're proud to include former HMRC Inspectors, sector-specific experts, and passionate advisors.
The Role
This is more than an admin role. As
Office Manager
, you'll be a key contributor to the internal and external rhythm of the business -- supporting project delivery, driving firm-wide culture, managing logistics, and being a trusted contact for clients and collaborators alike.
You'll support the directors and wider team, oversee day-to-day operations, help with client-facing activities, and lead the coordination of events and initiatives -- including our annual team retreat (we're off to
Seville
this year!).
Key Responsibilities
Office Operations:
Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including supplies, systems, suppliers, and facilities. Keep everything (and everyone) organised and on track.

Act as a key point of contact for clients -- coordinating communications, meetings, and supporting relationship management. Build trusted relationships and contribute to our high-touch service style.
Project & Document Support:
Assist the consulting team with formatting, assembling, and finalising client-facing documents such as R&D reports and submission packs.
Culture & Team Experience:
Champion our internal culture -- organising staff events, supporting wellbeing, onboarding new joiners, and helping to maintain our positive, people-first working environment.
Event Planning:
Coordinate firm events, including our annual retreat, quarterly meetups, and occasional client functions.
Firm Management Support:
Provide direct support to the leadership team on internal processes, HR coordination, and continuous improvement across business operations.

Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with clients and colleagues alike.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and familiarity with systems like SharePoint.
Discreet, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and make things happen.
