The Green Clean are based in Cirencester and operates in the cleaning services industry, providing Industrial, commercial and Medical cleaning solutions throughout various locations in the UK.
Summary
We are seeking an Office Manager/HR Assistant to join our team at The Green Clean in the heart of the UK. This pivotal role will ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering top-notch cleaning services. This position is predominately home based, however, would require occasional site visits and meetings held in person.
Responsibilities
Handle human resources tasks including recruitment and employee relations
Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow
Administration of onboarding of employees
Keeping employees HR documentation up to date
Implement administrative procedures to enhance productivity.
Manage recruitment by posting job ads online and shortlisting candidates for the Area Manager to interview
Create and update site files for each new and existing location
Ensure staff have appropriate uniforms, including branded polo shirts as required
Manage workwear and PPE orders, maintaining a spreadsheet for staff data and expenses, and reporting to the Managing Director and clients
Manage office stock and supplies
Oversee vehicle fleet management, ensuring compliance with tax, MOT, and insurance requirements, and maintaining a vehicle information spreadsheet
Prepare payroll hours for each staff member and submit to payroll accountants three days before the month-end, ensuring accuracy
Assist with cover management for sickness and holidays as requested by the Area Manager
Requirements
Proven experience in office management or related field.
Strong team management skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Strong administrative skills
Experience in human resources is a plus.
Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
