This is a full time position (43.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm.

Main purpose of the role:

To manage all office and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth running of the business and working closely with parents/carers, visitors and other businesses.

Qualifications and Experience

o Formal IT related training

o Confidence in using settings internal software (Famly, Bright HR, Bright Safe)

o Good general standard of education (min GCSE or equivalent qualification)

o Experience working in a customer based environment

o Administrative experience

o Previous Office Management experience

Skills and Attributes

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Ability to manage own work load and work to deadlines

o Highly proficient in most areas of IT and confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet search engines.

o Ability to use and create databases

o Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills

o Ability to maintain confidentiality

o Respect all cultures of colleagues, children and families

o The liking for children/babies and the ability to relate to them in a sensitive manner

o Ability to work individually and as part of a team

o Self-motivated and a positive attitude

o Ability to learn on the job and adapt to changes

o Maintain calendar of key events/deadlines eg fee increases, performance management, salary reviews, meetings, trips etc

o Act as an ambassador for Daisy Chain and behave in a manner that upholds the company's values, vision and ethos.
