Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Office Manager to cover maternity leave. The role is mainly home-based and includes full handover training.
Responsibilities
Answering calls and emails, acting as the first point of contact
Organising engineers' diaries and scheduling jobs
Liaising with clients and suppliers
Ordering materials and tracking deliveries
Preparing and sending invoices, monitoring payments, and chasing debtors
Maintaining records and compliance documentation
Providing general administrative support to directors and the team
Skills & Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - laptop provided
Strong organisational and communication skills
Previous office/administration experience preferred (knowledge of the construction/trades sector beneficial)
Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail
