Company Overview

Greens of Soham is part of Top Farms International which farms over 75,000 Ha across the UK and Central and Eastern Europe with a well-established track record of delivering solid business and revenue growth.

In the UK we farm more than 3,000 Ha, primarily in East Anglia but with operations also in Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Our primary focus is potatoes and beetroot, and we are the largest grower of these crops in the UK.

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to support our farming business with company administration, facilities management, and non-financial statutory requirements. This is a varied role that involves supporting operations across all company locations, not just our main site.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of the office environment, proactively seek improvements, and drive efficiencies. You will be based at our Soham office (CB7 5UN), with remote support needed for sites throughout the UK. The role requires excellent time management, responsiveness, and flexibility; some days will be quiet, while others will be fast-paced.

Provide day-to-day administrative support to employees, managers, and directors.

Assist the Fleet Manager with tasks such as fuel cards and insurance MID updates.

Assist employees with insurance claims administration.

Manage statutory requirements as they arise (e.g., TV licences, dispensations).

Maintain Health & Safety records, including COSHH documentation, PPE, and fire risk assessments.

Organise meetings, travel, and events, including diary management and catering arrangements.

Oversee office needs --placing orders and sourcing best prices.

Coordinate the annual crop label project (organising and printing approx. 50,000 labels).

Manage facilities requests, including repairs, breakdowns, and supplies for offices, sites, and accommodation.

Conduct worker accommodation checks and assist with queries during occupancy.

Liaise with external service providers (cleaning, building maintenance, water).

Handle phones, post, and general office queries daily including general organisation of main office.

Support with any other administrative tasks as required.

About You

A "can do" attitude is essential with eagerness to help make employee lives easier.

Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.

Ability to work independently and use initiative, particularly during quieter periods.

Experience with Health & Safety administration and facilities management is desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise urgent matters effectively.

Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Advanced excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups)
