Overview



An established and well-respected engineering and manufacturing business in Nuneaton is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join the team. This role has become available following the retirement of a long-standing and valued employee, and we are looking for a capable, hands-on professional to take ownership of the office function.

This is a key position within the business, offering variety, responsibility and long-term stability in a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities



Process incoming customer orders Managing all office paperwork, including invoices, records and filing Producing monthly Profit & Loss reports Processing clock cards and payroll Liaising with our external accountancy firm and preparing information for full accounts Assisting with HR administration Manage and purchase supplies for the office and wider factory Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. Creating job cards for production Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation as required by senior management. Providing practical support within the workshop, including packing and etching tools prior to dispatch

Skills & Experience Required



Proven experience as an Office Manager or Senior Administrator, ideally within an engineering or manufacturing environment Strong administration and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Confidence working with accounts, payroll and monthly reporting Sage 50 experience is highly desirable (accounts, sales orders and payroll) Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of office operations Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities. The role includes some light physical tasks in the factory Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
