Office Manager
to take charge of day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth business support across the team.
Key Responsibilities
As Office Manager, you will:
Oversee daily office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
Supervise and support the office administrator(s) and ensure tasks are delegated effectively.
Manage incoming customer calls, enquiries, and complaints with professionalism.
Support sales and customer service processes (CRM updates, invoicing, account management).
Maintain office systems: records, spreadsheets, financial admin, and reporting.
Handle HR admin: staff schedules, holidays, absence records, onboarding new hires.
Ensure compliance with health & safety and data protection regulations.
Prepare reports for directors and provide updates on customer satisfaction, admin performance, and office efficiency.
Support marketing and communications (basic social media posts, liaising with suppliers, etc.).
Be the point of contact between management, employees, and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who has:
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Senior Administrator, or similar role in a
B2B environment
.
Strong people management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, CRM systems, accounting software).
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under pressure.
High level of customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
Experience in waste management or facilities management (desirable but not essential).
