We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a knack for team management. This role is pivotal in supporting our staff and enhancing productivity through effective office management.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate office activities to ensure efficient workflow.
Manage clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
Implement and enforce office policies and procedures.
Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
Utilise QuickBooks for financial record keeping and reporting.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to foster positive relationships.
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required.
Provide support in team management to enhance collaboration and productivity.
Requirements
Proven experience in an office management or administrative role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
Experience in supervising staff and managing a team is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
