We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Office Manager/administrator who can work independently and manage their own time efficiently. The role will be based at Benchill Children's Centre in Wythenshawe, Manchester with some days at Barnardo's offices in Adwick Green North, Manchester. We are looking for someone who is friendly, has a warm disposition and can work flexibly/travel to and from these locations.
This varied role is in the Greater Manchester locality supporting the Assistant Director of Children's Services (ADCS), and will involve:
Support to the ADCS
Building management responsibilities
Administrative support to children's services in the locality
You will work alongside colleagues on a daily basis and have face to face, telephone and online interaction with commissioners, service users and partner organisations. The idea candidate will therefore have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of working in front facing roles.
