What's The Role?
Office Manager
Manchester Airport (2 days on-site)
16 hours per week across 4 days
We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our Manchester Airport HQ. This role is central to ensuring our workspace runs smoothly, is welcoming, and fully supports our colleagues to do their best work.
As Office Manager, you'll oversee and support all administrative duties and office logistics, working closely with both internal teams and external providers. You'll have your finger on the pulse of what the office needs - from ensuring coffee machines are serviced and gym checks are done, to helping plan CAVU-wide events and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new starters.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily office administration to ensure smooth, efficient operations
Providing administrative support to the Executive Committee (meeting scheduling, travel, etc.)
Liaising with facilities management
Procuring and managing office inventory and key contracts in line with procurement processes
Coordinating with MAG and third-party providers (cleaning, reception, IT, M&E services)
Acting as the go-to person for reception queries, and visitor arrivals
Receiving and distributing incoming mail and deliveries
Managing and evolving office policies and procedures (including access and H&S standards)
Ensuring the CAVU gym is maintained, medical disclaimers are collected, and processes followed
Assisting with office layout planning and space optimisation
Fielding colleague FAQs (e.g. meeting rooms, parking, visibility/access) and signposting as needed
About You:
You'll be a self-starter with a passion for creating a seamless and supportive work environment. You're comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and pride yourself on your attention to detail and ability to get things done.
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience in an administrative or office management role
Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
Strong time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong stakeholder management abilities and confidence influencing others
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
You're agile, approachable, and happy to roll up your sleeves to help out wherever needed - a natural connector who thrives in a collaborative, people-first environment.
