Our DGI Study Trips (DST) division specialises in educational group travel, working in partnership with Colleges, Universities and other education providers, to tailor bespoke study experiences and travel itineraries to inspire students outside of the classroom.

We are currently looking for an Office Manager to oversee the effective, efficient day to day operation of the Manchester Office. This will be a varied role from management and maintenance of facilities and premises equipment, to providing secretarial and administrative support to the CEO and other Board Members. Main responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the office runs smoothly day-to-day and the environment is maintained to high standards of cleanliness, safety, tidiness and is hazard-free Coordinating and undertaking general facilities management at the Manchester Office, and to liaise with relevant colleagues to support maintenance or administration at other company office premises Managing the relationship with Building landlords and service providers, raising any concerns in order that they are addressed in a suitable and timely manner With direction from the Corporate Risk & Compliance Manager, to coordinate Health and Safety matters across the Manchester site Providing administrative and secretarial support to the CEO and other Board Members, including the filing of expense claims, etc., and to service Board Meetings Organising meetings, social events, Monthly and Annual Awards and other events
Skills Required:

Recent experience in a similar role, managing busy, fast-paced office environments would be essential Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and provide effective and proactive support Self-motivated with the ability to work for different people simultaneously and manage workload accordingly Fantastic communication skills and experience of liaising and corresponding with a range of contacts, including senior management Ability to work on your own initiative and to have the flexibility to turn your hand to a range of tasks each day Ability to work autonomously and with discretion, precision and confidentiality Understanding of corporate governance and Boards/Committee management would be beneficial

Pay: Up to 32,000.00 per year
